HMS Lady Panthers went into the Mountain Brook tournament winning their first three games on Friday Night overpowering Pelham (15-0) and Columbiana (8-0) and squeaking by Clay-Chalkville (4-3).
On Saturday they came back for two more pool play games and lost to Simmons ( 2-4). The second pool play game on Saturday was a lot better. They came back against Chelsea. In this game Christy Hendrix drove one over the fence to score both Deluka and Brown to help out in the 9-1 victory over Chelsea!
Advancing from pool play to elimination, the Lady Panthers went up against Mountain Brook only to fall by the score of 4-1. This Mountain Brook team went on to play Thompson in the Championship game. Thompson eventually won this tournament.

The Lady Panthers play North Jefferson today (Monday) at 4:30 followed by a game against Bottenfield at 6:00. Come out and support our girls!
